The Expendables

Aiight, cuzzo. Sylvester Stallone has written, directed and is starring in what's being called the "Manliest Movie of All-Time." This movie is called The Expendables and its about a group of mercenaries who travel to South America to overthrow a dictator, but let's be honest, the plot probably won't be that important in this film. And that's ok because this testoterone- based epic has an allstar cast.

Its features: Sylvester Stallone (Rocky), Jet Li (Hero), Jason Stathom (Crank), Terry Crews (Friday After Next), Forest Whitaker (Panic Room), Stone Cold Steve Austin (WWE), Dolph Lundgren (Showdown in Little Tokyo), Randy Couture (UFC), Arnold Scwarzenegger (Terminator), and Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler). This movie might be out of control! With a cast of this magnitude, the execution must be on point. I'm really excited for this. What do ya'll think? Its set to hit theaters April 23rd, 2010. I'll keep ya'll posted on trailers and updates so stay up.

  1. The best part of Renny Harlin's DRIVEN were the deleted scenes that showed what could have been if it were Stallone's DRIVEN. When Stallone is in charge of the script, the direction and the editing (which completely butchered DRIVEN) he can make some pretty good pictures (as long as they aren't comedies or musicals). This will be at least as good as his recent Rambo and Rocky films and most likely better because of the fresh material and interesting cast.
