The Gadgets: Campaign Trailer for "Halo: Combat Evolved" Anniversary
Details:
HIGH NOON – High Noon returns players to the familiar canyons and catwalks of Hang ‘Em High, the Halo: Combat Evolved classic multiplayer map, now re-imagined for Halo: Anniversary with unprecedented detail. The vast generator complexes, which power this enormous slipspace portal, allow it to connect with an unknown number of locations across the galaxy. High Noon is a densely-packed arena of platforms, corridors and cover, best suited for team-based combat in both Slayer and Objective gametypes (4 - 12 players).
Here are the full details of Halo's Kinect integration:
-
Analyze Mode – Analyze Mode is a Kinect-exclusive feature that allows players to “scan” items of interest within the Halo: Anniversary campaign to populate the Library, an interactive encyclopedia of “Halo” lore. Once in Analyze mode, new articles of interest can be added to the Library by focusing the reticule on them and saying “Scan.”
-
The Library – The Library is an expansive index that provides detailed information on items of interest players have scanned through “Analyze Mode,” such as vehicles, characters, enemies and weapons. Through the use of gesture controls, players can explore the entire Library at any time and then return to the campaign to continue unlocking more secrets within the “Halo” universe.
-
Voice Commands – Harness the technology of Kinect for Xbox 360 to reload your weapon, throw grenades, switch seamlessly between Classic and Remastered graphics and more, using only your voice.
Here are the changes you can expect to Halo Waypoint:
-
New Halo Waypoint Interface – A revamped design and user interface lets players navigate HaloWaypoint and access the content they want more easily than ever before, whether they’re online, on their Xbox 360 or on their Windows Phone.
-
Halo Waypoint ATLAS – Available on Windows Phones this holiday, Halo Waypoint ATLAS (AdvancedTacticaL Assault System) is a new mobile experience that offers players a detailed, top-down view of any “Halo: Anniversary” or “Halo: Reach” map in real-time, letting them monitor teammates’ movements and positions as they play. This innovative app encourages strategic gameplay and offers a fun companion experience to any multiplayer match.
-
Custom Challenges – Building upon the “Halo” series’ genre-defining user-creation toolset, 343 Industries is empowering the community even further by introducing Custom Challenges in “Halo: Anniversary” and “Halo: Reach.” For the first time, players will be able to issue custom Challenges and create friendly competitions with Xbox friends, unlocking infinite creative possibilities to invent and test their “Halo” skills against one another.
For example, players can create a Challenge to get a specific number of headshots (say 50) inMultiplayer, within 24 hours. They can then try the challenge themselves, or invite their friends to give it a shot to see who can get the most headshots. Challenges can be created for Campaign, Matchmaking Firefight, Multiplayer and even Custom modes.
Players will also be able to earn “Halo: Reach” Credits by completing Custom Challenges, infusing new creative potential into the game’s deep player progression system, and leveraging all the great newmultiplayer maps from “Halo: Anniversary”!
For a sneak peek at Halo Waypoint ATLAS and Kinect functionality in “Halo: Anniversary,” new footage of the iconic level, “The Pillar of Autumn,” and screenshots of High Noon, be sure to check out the new behind-the-scenes videos and screenshot galleries from 343 Industries available today on Halo Waypointand HaloWaypoint.com.
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary comes out for the 360 on November 15th.

Super Tough!: Crazy Life-Size "Halo" Sniper Rifle Made from LEGOs
Length: 63 inches (1.6 meters)
Weight: Approximately 10.5 pounds
Non-LEGO used: dowel rod, custom waterslide decals
Features: Removable magazine, sliding bolt, moving safety
Time spent building: about 4 months
Here's what the LEGO Master, Nick Jensen says about the building process:
One of the first things I worried about when I decided on building the sniper rifle was the length. It seemed that I would never build something that was going to be 5.5ft long. I thought about the project from another perspective: building the sniper rifle is like building the assault rifle but with a really long barrel. Breaking the project down into three simple parts (body, barrel, and scope) really eased some doubts I had. The sniper rifle in Halo: Reach is approximately 5.5ft long, so a tape measure locked at 5.5ft was always around for reference. I built the body of the sniper the same way I built the assault rifle, SMG, and pistol: Start from the front and build my way to the back. The barrel was easy and I had a plan in mind from the start. I would cover a supporting rod with 2×2 quarter cylinder bricks. So the only difficult tasks were the body and scope.

Super Tough!: Great Fan Made "Halo" Posters
This is the Halo Franchise envisioned as a movie through this poster. I designed my own Logo for the Poster taking into consideration technology, space and the Halo.
The Main focus of the Poster is Master Chief the lead character in the series. I managed to get his Name on the side of his armour.
This is Cortana the AI from the Halo Series.
I think it turned out really great in the end .. but this piece certainly put up enough of a fight!! I guess that is fitting.
I decided to try to keep some elements consistent between this and the Halo Film poster. The Font/Style are the same for the text. Same illustration style. Included the same pattern at the bottom which I think works just as well for her as it did for Master Chief.
Covenant Propaganda Poster - Halo
This is my third poster for my Halo Series. The main focus in the poster is of an Elite Soldier and the black silhouette of one of their energy swords. I wanted to reference to them being ultimate soldiers that fight for honour.
As another tie in to the idea of being superior over all others I included a double helix with white bars crossing behind the elite soldier to show the belief of just being genetically superior. As well I put in a very loose impression in the top left and right corners that the orange shapes could be fists raised up. As in a call to arms.
As for the gold colour I decided to go that route because we invasion gold as a colour of power and or royalty .. used to show superiority even. Gold being also the closest to yellow which is a complementary colour to purple which is a colour I often see while depicting an Elite

Super Tough!: Behind the Scenes Video form the Fan Made "Halo" Short, "Operation Chastity"
Plot:
Operation Chastity is a planned film set in the Halo universe, centering on a platoon of Recon Marines of the 267th Marine Regiment. They operate in Argentina within a UNSC cordon, set up around the wreckage of the CCS-class battlecruiser “Chaste Ascendancy” following its crash-landing on Earth. Operation Chastity is their last mission in this forgotten part of the Human-Covenant War.
