In other DC news, The Hollywood Reporter also reported that the dispute over the rights of the Superman franchise was won by DC Comics and Warner Brothers, meaning that the heir of the creators will receive revenue from Superman Returns released in 2006. Also the judge gave Warner Brothers until 2013 to release another Superman film or their copyright expires and the rights of Superman goes to the heirs. This means when the copyright expires in 2013, Superman will basically be up for grabs. Superman can possibly become a Marvel character. The thing is, there is no work being done on another movie right now so we could see Superman on the Marvel brand in 5 years. I have to admit, that would be pretty sick. What do y'all think? Do you Marvel could do a better job with Superman franchise? Check out the full article. [Superman Trial] What if?
