Super Kaioken!: Jordan Next Generation 2012: Jordan CP3.V
Description:
"The Podulon is located in the heel area and in the big toe area on the CP 2’Quick, but we decided to move the Podulon cushioning over onto the medial side, so that Paul can have a better responsiveness coming off his first step and also when he cuts.
We also have a soft wrap at the 80 position of the CP3.V. We actually contoured the foam, which allowed us to carve out some things. The CP 2’Quick is 13.5 ounces, but the CP3.V is only 12.5 ounces. So, we took care of lightweight propulsion and flight.
The upper consists of Flywire. The whole goal here was to make this product look sexy. So, the Flywire upper gives it lightweight strength, and the 61 triangles represent CP’s grandfather, which is something we always incorporate in Paul’s products. That number represents his highest scoring game in high school when his grandfather passed.
CP loves the Achilles pad for comfort, so that remains a constant in his shoes. We also incorporated a heel counter, which is also on the inside of the shoe. When you’re planting, the foot changes direction but the heel is actually stays aligned to the knee. So, the softness in the heel counter allows his ankle to decouple. He is able to change positions, with comfort, and then take off"
