MTV Remembers Ryan Dunn's 5 Greatest "Jackass" Moments

As you all may know, we recently loss a beloved member of the Jackass crew, Ryan Dunn. Even though he was not one of the most prominent cast members, he still worked his ass off to be the biggest Jackass he could be and I commend him for that. Jim Henson Died 21 Years Ago Today

Yo, cuzzos! The genius known as Jim Henson died 21 years ago today. He is one of the most talented human beings ever. I grew up appreciating this man's creativity and vision and he has will always be missed. Check out Slash Film's tribute to a creative legend. Also the picture above is extremely touching. How do you guys remember Jim Henson?

George Lucas Remembers Irvin Kershner

As you all may already know, the director of The Empire Strikes Back, Irvin Kershner, passed away today at age 87. He directed the most famous and revered film of the Star Wars saga and will truly be missed. George Lucas issued this statement:

"The world has lost a great director and one of the most genuine people I’ve had the pleasure of knowing,” says Lucas. “Irvin Kershner was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. When I think of Kersh, I think of his warmth, his thoughtfulness and his talent. I knew him from USC — I attended his lectures and he was actually on the festival panel that gave the prize to my THX short. I considered him a mentor.

Following Star Wars, I knew one thing for sure: I didn’t want to direct the second movie myself. I needed someone I could trust, someone I really admired and whose work had maturity and humor. That was Kersh all over. I didn’t want Empire to turn into just another sequel, another episode in a series of space adventures. I was trying to build something, and I knew Kersh was the guy to help me do it. He brought so much to the table. I am truly grateful to him. He was a friend as well as a colleague. He will be missed."

Official Poster for Michael Jackson's This Is It Documentary

Yo, cuzzo. Here is the official poster for Sony Picture's Michael Jackson documentary, This Is It. This documentary is made up of Michael's last tour footage which was purchased by Sony for 60 million dollars.

This poster looks pretty epic and I'm really excited to see this although it does seem like a ploy to make money off of his death. I'm seeing it anyway and I think true Michael Jackson fans everywhere should see it too. Check out the poster courtesy of Geek Tyrant and peep this documentary when it comes out October 28th, 2009. Captain Eo Returns to Disneyland

Aiight, cuzzo. As a tribute to the late great Michael Jackson, Disney has announced that they are bringing the Captain Eo 3D Movie attraction is returning to Disney theme parks! They're not sure if its returning to Disney World in Florida but the announcement to bring it back to Disneyland California is being made at D23 (Disney's version of Comic-Con for Disney fanboys).

The film, written and produced by George Lucas, follows a motley crew of space travelers, led by Jackson as Captain Eo, who are captured by the oppressive leaders of a remote planet and sentenced to a century of torture. Captain Eo responds with a demonstration of the power of rock music, staging an impromptu concert that revitalizes the barren planet and transforms the evil aliens into beautiful, peace-loving humanoids.

I haven't had the chance to experience the Captain Eo attraction but I've seen the movie and I absolutely loved it. Check out the trailer below. If you haven't seen this 17 minute movie, peep it and also check out the making of it. It demonstrates Michael's creativity and passion to the fullest and I'm glad they're bringing it back in memory of the King of Pop. Good looks Disney. Stay up.

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus Trailer

Yo, cuz. Here's the new international trailer for The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. This is Heath Ledger's final performance and it looks pretty cool.

As you all may know Ledger wasn't able to finish making this movie so Jude Law, Collin Farrall and Johnny Depp took over the role of his character. I'm looking forward to seeing how that works out so I'll peep it.

Plus, even though I don't fully understand the plot, the trailer is visually stunning. Check out the trailer and tell me what you think.

Aiight, cuzzo. I'm sure everyone's already heard of the passing of the greatest entertainer in the history of music, Michael Jackson. Its a shock but instead of crying, we should celebrate everything he's done. He completely changed how music is made, how music videos are made ("He made Thriller, man... Thriller" and how African Americans in general are received in music. So instead of crying and remembering his troubled times, we should be thankful that we had him for those 50 years and he is in a much better place.

I remember being about 5 and I was watching one of his videos and I asked my mom, "Is that a girl?" and that's the when I first became familiar with his music. Of course I wasn't able to fully appreciate his music at that age but as I got older, I became more of a fan. Say what you want about em but this dude is the best there is, was, and ever will be. He always gave you your money's worth and he was hands down the best dancer in the history of music. All that Stanky Leg and snap dance stuff is irrelevant in comparison. MJ was that dude. Yeterday I went out and copped every album he's ever made and as we speak best believe I'm coppin me a MJ shirt. I gotta pay homage to my mans. Rest in Peace, Mike and thanks for everything. Dueces
