Super Kaioken: Eco-Friendly NIke Gets Not so Friendly Feedback

For some time now (lets say 10 years) there's been an ever demanding push to be "eco-friendly," conserve energy, and recycle. Well Nike's got on board with their drastically thinner sneaker boxes. Sure, some believe its about time but this move has definitely roused some sneakers heads to speak out.

After blowing a considerable amount of cash on sneakers, I believe its reasonable that they come in a durable container. I mean fine china isn't sold in plastic bags so why store your $100+ sneakers in something inferior to the product.

Maybe Nike's gotten so big to the point where they are certain their product will sell and that's all that matters. I hope not, I don't think that's the case.

Nike please design a new case one with less cardboard and more support. Open a contest to future engineers if you've got other things to do.  And to sneaker heads all over maybe invest in some other way to store those brand new J's or Supras because although fine china isn't sold in plastic bags, it doesn't sit in a box either.

Vladdtv gave Ninjahood a chance to rant and "test" the new Nike box's durability. (Although I'm not 100% sure about his testing methods...lol) check it out....
In the meantime stay up and stay fly.........
